Ólafur Þórðarson (b. Reykjavík, 1963) creates diverse urban- multimedia- architecture- and sculptural works. With 9 solo exhibitions and participating in over 80 art- and design exhibitions in 19 different countries, his award-winning works are part of major museum and private collections in the U.S. and Europe. Three books; Olafur Thordarson (2001), Gegnumgangur (2007) and Remain in art (2015) are dedicated to his design- and art works. He taught at Rhode Island School of Design and completed his Master of Architecture degree at Columbia University.
