A Jewish ceremonial object, this wall mounted aromatic container consists of the two interlocking triangles of the Jewish star. Fine woven translucent wire mesh holds them in place allowing the spices to be seen and smelled. An act of separating the two pieces is a metaphor for transition at the closing of Sabbath.
