The Windsor Repertory Theatre presents DEWPOINT a new play written by Vincent Sessa.  Directed by Elfin Frederick Vogel, previews begin Thursday, May 11th, before the official press opening Saturday, May 13th at the Hudson Guild Theatre.

A couple in their early forties offers a temporary home to a young, recently married woman who is drifting away from her husband.  Like a modern Pandora, the young woman opens a provocative new world of feeling and emotion to the married couple.
The wife's longings for close friendship are fulfilled and realized as, simultaneously, her husband's attraction to the young woman leads to a steamy affair.  Over the course of a short summer, the explosive mixture of love and friendship, hope and desire, sex and betrayal threatens to detonate. The lives of all are changed forever as DEWPOINT draws to its tragic/comic conclusion.

Elfin Frederick Vogel is known for his innovative and provocative stagings of the classics from Diderot to Chekhov to Shakespeare as well as original works from 20th century playwrights.  DEWPOINT is his third production of a work by Vincent Sessa.

The Cast includes Mark Shelton, Charlene Tosca Rees, Carey Woodworth, Rachel Sledd, Alan Jestice and Sam Kitchin.  Lighting design by Izzi Einsiedler; Set Design by Mark Bloom; Costume design by Monique Robidoux.

The Windsor Repertory Theatre was founded by Mark Shelton in 1998. Dedicated to producing plays in innovative ways -- from Shakespeare to 20th Century playwrights  as well as to discovering and developing new plays.

Scheduled through May 28th, DEWPOINT performs on the following schedule Wednesday through Saturday at 8PM, with matinees performances Saturday and Sunday at 3PM.  All tickets are $12

For reservations or information call 212-539-8840.
