Antoine Verglas

French photographer Antoine Verglas was born in Paris in 1962. He graduated from French E.S.C. school of business after which he began a career as the host on a popular French television show.  Verglas then switched to the world of photography, where he has by now successfully carved a niche as a top fashion photographer.

In 1990 Verglas moved to New York with his camera and his vision. Persistence paid off, as his documentary style photo series for French Elle featured the country's top models. He shot Stephanie Seymour, Linda Evangelista, Naomi, Claudia Shiffer and Cindy Crawford at home in very personal portraits just as they were reaching celebrity status. The intimate style of capturing the person behind the image has led to the demand for Verglas as a photographer. He now has shot for the world's top fashion magazines. His creations have appeared internationally on the covers of Elle, Vogue, GQ, Esquire and Sports Illustrated, to name a few. Verglas captures and creates a forefront in fashion with a clear definition and a quality unique only to his eye.
