In Pratt, a town of about 7,000 in Kansas, the theory of evolution isn't so clear to people. In sync with the banning of teaching the theory of evolution by the Kansas Board of Education, the local Pratt School Board arranged a presentation in August from a local wildlife biologist about a book titled "Of Pandas and People: The Central Question of Biological Origins." The 1989 quack book suggests that "intelligent design," as engineered by an "intelligent agent," may be a more compelling explanation than biological evolution for the wide variety found in nature. Its funny when religious people retort to pseudo-science to try and disprove real science.
