Door Studio

Jennifer Steifle's doors included investigations into the slat and how a door could fan into forming a stair. Her final project below left was made in perforated metal sheets that folded onto the doorjamb. Each metal sheet is hinged so the structure moves into varying shapes which allow for varying degrees of transparency.
